2020 Kia Sportage LX - Partial Vehicle Wrap
This partial wrap features designs on the hood, rear hatch, and sides in support of national breast cancer awareness month.
Lou Fusz Kia is raising awareness and turning heads with this "Think Pink" wrap on a 2020 Kia Sportage. The iconic breast cancer ribbon appears on the hood and sides as well as a collage of words offering strength to those affected.
We consider this a partial wrap because it only covers select parts of the vehicle. These are often chosen instead of a full to keep material and installation costs down.
This wrap was designed for the month of October but the material is rated for over 9 years of durability.
This longevity is possible because there are actually two layers of material in a printed vehicle wrap. The first is the printed wrap material and on top of that is a clear overlaminate film.
The clear film protects the printed images from fading and it's applied to the wrap material during production. Without this protection the images would quickly fade from sun exposure.
The rear window was wrapped with a 65/35 window perforation film. This means that from the inside looking out you have 65% visiblity, and from the outside looking in you have 35% visibility.
We use this material on windows that need to be seen out of after the wrap is complete. Sometimes it's used to add privacy, but most often it is used to maintain driving visibility in a wrapped vehicle. It can also be used on building windows and interior windows to add style or privacy to any room or storefront.
Breast Cancer Support
In the US, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. That's a scary fact, but it's one that we can fight together. Early detection and education saves lives, and that's what this month is all about.
