We're not allergic to chrome, but everyone needs a deep cleanse once in a while. Breathe deep and embrace the black of this 2019 Ford F150 XLT SuperCrew.
This blackout F150 package is true to its name, with hardly a glimpse of chrome visible. Everything on this F150 build is tinted or pure black. From the wheels to the emblems we've embraced the darkness from bumper to bumper.
2 Inch Leveling Kit
We eliminated the factory rake of the stock F150 with a 2-inch leveling kit from Rough Country. These simple kits raise the front end of the truck to be level with the rear. It's a simple change that transforms a "work truck" into a custom build.
We always recommend talking with one of our experts before making a lift or leveling decision. Finding the right lift for your vehicle isn't always an easy process. You can start a custom quote with us to start the conversation.
Wheel & Tires
We grabbed some 20 inch Fuel Offroad Avenger wheels in matte black for this package. The machined accents are coated in DDT (double dark tint). The wheel also comes in a gloss black/milled finish if you're looking for greater contrast.
The 2 inch level makes enough room to run larger tires as well, so we wrapped the wheels in 33 inch tires from Toyo. The Open Country A/T tires have an aggressive tread pattern but maintain a quiet ride.
This wheel package gives you bold custom styling without sacrificing the smooth factory ride of your F150.
A minor change that really makes a difference is the removal pinstripes and the factory bedside decals. You might not notice they are missing, but you definitely notice them if left on.
We also swapped the side nameplates and front and rear Ford emblems with black replacements.
No build is complete without tint, so we applied it to the front driver and passenger windows to match the factory tint in the rear.
We took the tint even further by including a windshield eyebrow strip as well. This 4"-6" strip of tint is installed at the top of the windshield and effectively reduces glare while driving.
You might consider some in-channel rain guards for the windows or a truck cab spoiler. Both of these additions are inexpensive and can be removed or replaced down the line if you wanted.
They add some new lines to the vehicle and look even better when paired with a black truck like this.
You could even add the popular tailgate spoiler from Air Design. We've used it on previous blackout F150 builds.
We assembled a true blackout build on this 2019 Ford F150, with only a trace of chrome visible.
